The solution

You have entered [src]
5 - 7*x + 8*x + -15 + 13*x = 4*x
$$\left(8 x + \left(5 - 7 x\right)\right) + \left(13 x - 15\right) = 4 x$$
Detail solution
Given the linear equation:
(5-7*x)+8*x-(15-13*x) = 4*x

Expand brackets in the left part
5-7*x+8*x-15+13*x = 4*x

Looking for similar summands in the left part:
-10 + 14*x = 4*x

Move free summands (without x)
from left part to right part, we given:
$$14 x = 4 x + 10$$
Move the summands with the unknown x
from the right part to the left part:
$$10 x = 10$$
Divide both parts of the equation by 10
x = 10 / (10)

We get the answer: x = 1
